The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) recently played host to a large group of students and staff from the Gurteen Agricultural College in Co. Tipperary at its Hillsborough site during a two day trip to Northern Ireland.
The students’ are in their 2nd year of study at the college, and received updates on the research programmes that are currently ongoing within dairy, beef and renewable energy at Hillsborough. The students’ trip concluded with a visit to a local dairy farm at Antrim.
