A prestigious European Conference on Animal Science, to be staged in Belfast in 2016, will showcase the local livestock industry and feature Northern Ireland’s strong expertise in animal science.
The Conference was launched at an Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) hosted event held during Balmoral Show. AFBI staff have a prominent role in organising the Conference on behalf of the host society, the British Society of Animal Science.
The week-long conference from 28 August - 1 September 2016 will be the 67th Meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science. The Federation was founded in 1949 and has representation from thirty-five countries across Europe.
