AFBI Business Plan 2024 - 2025

The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is Northern Ireland’s largest
agri-food science organisation. As a non-departmental public body (NDPB)
sponsored by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs
(DAERA), AFBI science plays a crucial role in providing the underpinning
statutory and surveillance science, research and development work,
emergency response capability and expert scientific advice required to
support the various work programmes of our sponsoring department.
