The AFBI Quality Policy is that:
AFBI’s senior management is committed to the provision of scientific services that consistently meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and to the enhancement of customer satisfaction.
This is achieved by:
- Setting and working towards quality objectives that are aligned with the AFBI goals,
- Following agreed AFBI business strategies,
- Operation and continual improvement of a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001 (where appropriate, accreditation to specific scientific standards e.g. ISO17025 will be sought).
- Providing scientific staff with training and support to ensure that the Quality Management System and this policy are understood, implemented and operated throughout AFBI.
This quality policy is communicated internally and externally to all interested parties. It is reviewed periodically by senior management and is the basis for the quality objectives. These are communicated to all scientific staff to promote their involvement and commitment to the improvement of AFBI’s business.
