This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead the Finance and Corporate Affairs Division in an internationally renowned, successful organisation with a staff complement of circa 630 and a budget of £50m.
The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is a leading multidisciplinary science organisation with a strong international reputation for excellence in science supporting the local and global agri-food and rural sectors. The successful candidate for this post will have a key role in strategic planning and leadership, driving change and implementing new initiatives in financial management, planning and control, with responsibility for management of procurement and human resources.
In recognition of the strategic importance of this post to AFBI, the Director of Finance and Corporate Affairs Division will, along with the Directors of the two Science Divisions, be designated as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Executive Management Team, which is responsible for the corporate management of the organisation.
